When asked whether the iPhone is for everyone, and whether it will dominate the smartphone market, Mr. Khawand commented that “while I see the iPhone as a breakthrough in user interface and functionality, there are some important issues that it still needs to address, the first relating to availability through additional wireless carriers, the second relating to better supporting corporate e-mail and calendar systems, and allowing higher Internet connectivity speed”.
